What happens first?

Before we carry out any treatment, we invite you to book an initial consultation with one of our aesthetic doctors. At the consultation, the doctor will discuss your medical history, your skin (or hair, if relevant), as well as your hopes and expectations for treatment. The doctor will also carry out a visual assessment and, if it would be helpful, a Visia computerised skin analysis to allow us to examine magnified 3D images of your face and gather data on your skin. This invaluable information then gives us a good understanding of which treatment will achieve the best outcome for you.

Will you suggest other rejuvenation treatments?

It may be that you come to us with a specific treatment in mind however, if on assessment, we feel an alternative might be more appropriate then we’ll let you know. Whatever the case, we always focus on your individual needs and give you an honest assessment, including realistic expectations of the outcomes of treatment.

What is radiofrequency microneedling & exosome therapy?

RADIOFREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING WITH VIRTUE RF
Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling is a minimally invasive, non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment that uses microscopic needles to deliver radiofrequency energy into the skin. The radiofrequency helps to stimulate collagen production and tightening. This can improve skin quality and texture and treat a wide variety of skin concerns. Virtue RF is a particularly innovative, bespoke treatment: it combines the precision of microneedling with the power of radiofrequency energy to rejuvenate skin and hair with unsurpassed results, yet is almost pain free and has very little downtime (just some short-lived redness).

EXOSOME THERAPY
Exosomes are microscopic extracellular vesicles (small sacs) that play a crucial role in cell-to-cell communication, aiding in skin regeneration and healing. When integrated into aesthetic treatments, they accelerate the skin’s natural healing processes, significantly reducing recovery time. Exosomes also enhance the effectiveness of treatments like Virtue RF by boosting collagen and elastin production. This results in faster, more pronounced improvements in your skin’s appearance and health.The natural yet potent exosomes we use are regenerative, anti-inflammatory and have immune-modulating properties which help to reconstruct the skin barrier, rebalance the skin microbiome, reduce pigmentation and generally help to transform skin so it is almost flawless yet still natural looking.

We use plant-based exosomes – in total, our exosome therapy contains some 5 billion plant stem cell exosomes.

What is Virtue RF & exosome therapy used to treat?

This regenerative combination treatment is used to improve notoriously difficult-to-treat concerns, such as lines under the eyes and around the mouth, scarring, stretchmarks, loose skin on the neck or other areas of the body and thinning hair or hair loss. It is also highly effective at treating lines and wrinkles, pigmentation and sun damage, uneven texture, enlarged pores, acne, oily skin, rosacea, redness, as well as generally improving skin strength, elasticity & health.

What happens during a treatment?

First, we’ll thoroughly cleanse your skin and apply a topical numbing cream 30 minutes before your treatment. This helps to ensure you have a comfortable experience although this treatment is considered virtually pain-free. We then cleanse again before treatment begins, with the Virtue RF handpiece creating thousands of microscopic holes in the skin (these close rapidly), allowing the exosome solution to deeply penetrate your skin for maximum effect. At the end of treatment, you may also choose to have a Celluma red light sesssion, where you lie under the red light mask for 30 minutes. We then finish by applying an SPF. If you wish, you may also apply an Exosome mask and / or purchase the Exobalm skincare product to further boost results at home.

How long does treatment take?

Treatment sessions typically take 1 hour 15 minutes, or slightly more if other areas are being treated too. Your initial session will likely be longer – we allow around 1 hour 45 minutes for the first treatment.

Does the treatment hurt?

Accepted Answer

One of the benefits of Virtue RF is that, unlike comparable devices, treatment is comfortable and considered virtually pain free (many patients find it relaxing). This is due in part to the handpiece with its microneedles which is so exact that it creates no trauma to the skin. We do still apply a topical numbing cream but this is to help minimise any mild discomfort in more sensitive areas.

Is there any downtime?

You may experience some temporary redness after treatment for a few hours but this subsides quickly, meaning there is minimal to no downtime.

There is no need to avoid the sun, any more than we’d normally advise for good skin health.

When should I see results from treatment?

Accepted Answer

You may notice an immediate difference to your skin after your first Virtue RF treatment, and will then see a more significant improvement gradually after treatment and as your course progresses. It can take four to six weeks until the full benefits are apparent, as your own collagen starts to rebuild.

How many treatments will I need?

You are likely to see an improvement to your skin after one session but, for best results, we recommend three treatments for skin health and rejuvenation or five to eight treatments for hair loss / thinning hair.

We recommend that treatments are booked two to three weeks apart (monthly is fine otherwise).

Once your course of treatments is complete, you and the doctor will decide on any future maintenance treatments to continue improvements to the treated area – there is no set timeline and the doctor will advise what would be best for you individually.

How much does Virtue RF & exosome treatment cost?

Prices for treatment start from £1250 for a single session, with additional areas at £250 (e.g. neck / decolletage). Courses are available at a discounted rate.

Optional add-ons include ExoBalm for £240 and Celluma red light therapy from £120.
