What are skin boosters / injectable moisturisers?

Injectable moisturisers (sometimes called skin boosters) have been incredibly popular aesthetic treatments for a number of years now.

This family of products all have different qualities, but they generally contain hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump the skin.

Unlike fillers, skin boosters do not alter the structure of the face, and are injected just below the surface of the skin. Some, like Profhilo, stimulate collagen and elastin production for long lasting rejuvenation. Others improve the luminosity and overall condition of your skin and have light refractive properties to give firmness and radiance.

There are a number of skin boosters on the market, several of which you can read about here. If you are interested in treatment, do talk to us or your own aesthetic doctor / practitioner to ascertain if this is an appropriate option for you and, if so, which would be most suitable.
