Why is radiofrequency microneedling so popular? (e.g. Morpheus8, EndyMed Intensif)

Microneedling with radiofrequency is increasing in popularity as a minimally invasive treatment for tighter, firmer skin with a better overall texture. You’ll probably have heard of devices such as Morpheus8 and EndyMed PRO which offer this treatment protocol.

By combining radiofrequency energy with microneedling, we can further stimulate the body’s natural collagen and healing processes, to reveal firmer, rejuvenated skin.

Patients love these treatments as they produce:

* Smoother, refined skin texture with smaller-looking pores
* Less noticeable fines lines & wrinkles
* A tighter-looking jawline with more sculpted cheekbones
* Reduced acne scars & stretchmarks
* AND skin which generally looks firmer, tighter & lifted

So how does it work? During the treatment, ultra-thin needles which emit radiofrequency energy are stamped into your skin to create a controlled injury. This triggers a regenerative response in the skin, activating collagen and elastin production—the key proteins responsible for skin firmness, tightness and smoothness.

Our preference is to use EndyMed Intensif for radiofrequency microneedling as, uniquely, it has over 10 years of clinical studies to evidence its results and safety. EndyMed also delivers a consistent, controlled flow of energy with every pulse, offering a much more effective and safe treatment than similar, with shorter treatment times and greater patient comfort. Importantly, it achieves predictable and impressive results so is integral to achieving great skin health for many of our patients.
